Attorney Peter Luning Prak

Professional Experience: 

Licensed to practice law in multiple states, Peter Jacob Luning Prak is a graduate of the prestigious New York University (NYU) School of Law. While at Law School Peter served as an editor on the NYU Tax Law Review journal and contributed to the research papers of Professor Richard Pomp on the unique status of Indian reservations in the American legal system.  With this education, Peter has served in roles embracing a large spectrum of practice areas.  He has contributed to tax planning and civil litigation in Delaware, assisted new entrepreneurs with starting businesses in New York, worked on the civil defense of state police officers in Maryland, and defended those accused of criminal offenses in Texas. With his experience litigating on both sides of the police-citizen divide, Peter is uniquely positioned to assist those whose interactions with law enforcement have taken an undesirable turn.

Holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Peter is a trained engineer and brings his mechanical and mathematical knowledge and skill to all aspects of the practice of law.  From performing patent application review in New York to analyzing forensic evidence and performing kinematic calculations on vehicle behavior in Texas DWI cases, Peter has applied his technical skills widely and successfully.  Peter’s wealth of scientific knowledge is the key to unlocking many decisive defenses for those accused of serious crimes.
